Dr. Pankti Patel
Growing up, Dr. Pankti always knew she wanted to be a doctor in Lincoln Park. Her passion for dentistry evolved because of how it combines art and science. Also, its ability to provide a positive work-life balance heightened her interest. As a doctor, she knew she could focus her efforts on her patients while still being able to enjoy her time spent as a wife, mother, and daughter.
Attending the MGV Dental College in India, she earned her dental degree before moving to the U.S. and graduating from the NYU College of Dentistry. During her time in school, she joined Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society. After graduation, she enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves, where she continues to serve as a captain and dentist.
Dr. Pankti’s educational pursuits did not stop after graduating from dental school. Since then, she has continued to take courses through the Kois Center and possesses certifications in nitrous oxide, Invisalign, CPR, and sleep dentistry.
She’s actively involved in the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Outside of the office, you’ll find her and her husband, Jwalant, spending time with their two children, a son and a daughter. She also enjoys dance, including Indian classical dance, shopping, playing volleyball, and cooking new dishes for her family.
Dr. Jainisha Patel
Fortunate to be able to care for her patients and educate them about their oral health, Dr. Jainisha works hard to help them out of pain and live life with a healthier, more vibrant smile. As a dentist near Lincoln Park, she has spent more than a decade doing what she loves.
This passion for dentistry started at an early age when she attended dental appointments with her grandfather, mother, and father. Although interested in the different components and atmosphere, it wasn’t until high school that she seriously considered pursuing it as a career.
Earning her dental degree in India, she traveled to the U.S. and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. After completing her degree, she finished a dental implant preceptorship before working as an associate dentist.
She later joined the U.S. Army in 2015, and today, serves in the National Guard Reserve. In addition, she is a certified Invisalign provider and an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
When she’s not busy changing the way others see their smile, she’s at home with her husband, three children, and in-laws. She spends much of her time in the kitchen cooking various foods from scratch because everyone in their home is a self-proclaimed foodie. When she’s not busy delivering up delicious meals, though, you’ll often find her hiking, running, doing CrossFit, and practicing yoga.
